   Man that'd be insane, yeah that's my argument. It's brute force and knocks. None of this padding and helmet BS. Although I'll give it to them that they are allowed crazy tackles but it's fair enough they're not allowed in rugby. I said to one guy the only way to compare either players would be to put them into a game of bull rush, no helmets/padding etc. Then we'll see who's tough. Yeah we're pretty lucky, but in saying all the other potentially big sports don't have much of a chance to compete. Oh real? Wow so it'd be a lot different to go against the grain sporting wise. How'd you get into it? We're called Kiwi's cos the Kiwi is a bird that's native to our country, and I guess somehow it caught on, have no idea why

   i love athletics, and i was looking for something to join in college to keep me busy/in-shape... so i went to a practice one day and thought it was awesome. my favorite part is the tackling. is being a rugby player a great aspiration in NZ to the guys? speaking of NZ, my team went there last year in the Winter. I couldn't go cuz I couldn't afford it :( but when i get enough money, it's definitely a place that I want to visit.

   You should def do that aye, we're all pretty chill so I'm sure you'd have an insane time. Ahh yeah unfortunately that's just the way it is. What the NBA, NFL and NHL is to American's, rugby is to NZers and Australians. Rugby is definitely massive in the Southern Hemisphere, and in England and parts of Europe. Haha that's awesome, I've had arguments with dudes from the states about the toughness of NFL players compared to rugby players. I'm Danielle by the way, good to talk rugby with you :)

   haha you have no idea how many times i've argued with my roommate about the toughness of each sport. he's a die-hard football fan and he keeps trying to tell me that football is tougher than rugby. first, rugby is constant motion. second, no pads. i don't see how people don't understand those two concepts. i wish i would've been introduced to rugby a long time ago (it's awesome that children in NZ are raised with rugby). i was raised in texas, so football was all that i knew until i went off to college. why are NZers referred to as "kiwis"?

   Oh nice! Na, I just know a lot about it/watch it religiously. Indeed, we played Australia yesterday night, won 19-18. Oh really? Gotta rep that hard out! How big is rugby over there? I know when I was in the States back in 02 the few American's I spoke to had no idea wth I was talking about lol

   i plan on making my way to australia/NZ one day. honestly, rugby isn't big enough over here. idk why rugby isn't bigger than soccer globally, but whatever. i suppose it's getting bigger though, which is a good thing. people know very little about it, but at the very least, they know that it's a tough sport and i get mad respect wherever i go. i like it better than football to be honest.
